That is the question!A new year a new descision to ponder!
This year I am considering on moving from a hobby to a business. I am considering opening up a beekeeper supply store as well to sell some wooden ware and also bee products (Honey, candles, etc.). I don't want a great deal of inventory, but I am trying to fill a small niche. It would be beneficial to local beeks since they would not be paying the shipping that they normally have to. I am waiting to here from some local beeks to see if there is enough interest in buying local or not before I make a descision. I also have to talk to my CFO(Wife) and Tax man yet. More to come as I find out!

I am also planning on selling nucleous hives this year. My plan is to have about 8 nucs for sale in mid-May and another 8 in Mid-June. Not many, but enough to make ends meet for now!
I will post more later as I see the progress of the hives I will be making nucs out of!Michaelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06323482231083543905noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475934696820034705.post-1232903766047373602008-06-01T09:32:00.002-05:002008-06-01T09:36:14.498-05:00Been A WhileWell I haven't been keeping up here, but it is a slow day at work. The bee yard has grown leaps and bounds! I came through winter with only 4 hives surviving. I am now up to 10 hives due to various splits of hives to prevent swarming.

Michaelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06323482231083543905noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475934696820034705.post-56982797195182351072007-10-16T12:27:00.001-05:002007-10-16T18:59:55.458-05:00First Contact!Well, now I have done it.
